Occasionally referred to as the CIA, FBI, RCMP and CRA wrapped into one, nothing gets by her in financing and accounting. Someone highly dedicated to keeping our books as straight as an arrow; she has over 50 years of accounting experience to keep our well-oiled machine running smooth. Behind every successful company is a very organized accountant.
Dustin Alexander — Sales and Estimating
Dustin started his career in the shop, learning every aspect of metal fabrication, including layout, brake, laser, welding, cleaning, and installation. Later in his career, he moved into an office position doing sales and estimating specializing in commercial kitchen design. Dustin’s knowledge and reputation in the industry has allowed him to gain the trust of his customers and retain long-term relationships.
Darryl Field — Drafting and Design
Darryl proudly brings 28 years of drafting experience to our office team and an attention to detail with commercial kitchen design. He is a pleasure to work with as he’s always in a chipper mood and ready to take on more.
Arnel Medina — Production Planner
Beginning his career in a drafting position, this gave him a sturdy base in the metal fabrication industry. After establishing excellent organizational skills, he leaped into the production planning role, which he has successfully manned for 26 years. He currently takes care of all the purchasing, inventory, and workflow throughout the shop and on job sites. His ability to stay organized and calm while juggling crazy workloads is nothing short of amazing.
Darren Sakwi — President
Darren began his career in metal fabrication as a draftsperson and steadily took on more responsibility, which included the roles of mechanical design, estimating, and project coordinating. He enjoys creating specialized projects such as sculptures while working alongside local artists. Fun fact: Darren is also a local and commissioned artist who has completed many art projects in which you’ll find displayed across the city. His #1 goal remains keeping people happy by staying positive, humble, and making sure everyone is well fed! His approach to running a business might be unorthodox compared to larger industry shops, but the last 13 years are proving to be enjoyable and successful in every aspect.
